Panel Upgrades
Upgraded an older, full 100-amp electrical service to a new 125-amp Leviton smart panel with additional breaker space, whole-home surge protection, and circuit monitoring through the Leviton app.
The Homeowner's Goal
The homeowner had an older 100-amp electrical service with no practical breaker space remaining. They wanted updated service equipment, additional breaker positions to make better use of the home's available capacity, and the ability to monitor electrical circuits through a mobile app.
Existing Conditions
The original 100-amp service equipment was outdated and full. The limited breaker space made it difficult to add future circuits or reorganize the existing electrical system. The project did not require major utility-side construction, but it did require a permitted service upgrade and coordination with NV Energy for the disconnect and reconnection.
