The Homeowner's Goal

What the project needed to accomplish.

The customer needed a commercial freezer container powered back up so the unit could operate reliably outside the building. They also needed a practical solution after the freezer cord had repeatedly been cut and stolen when excess cable was left coiled at the back of the unit.

Existing Conditions

What we found before starting.

The exterior refrigerated container did not have a proper power feed in place for operation. In addition, the freezer's supply cord had already been cut and stolen by thieves, leaving the equipment unable to run. Because excess cable had previously been left coiled behind the unit, the customer also needed a better way to manage the cord length so less cable remained exposed and accessible.

Final Result

What changed for the homeowner.

The customer received a working power connection for the commercial freezer container, a repaired cord connection, and a cleaner anti-theft cord-management solution. By allowing the excess cord to be pulled back through the junction box, Surge Electric eliminated the large exposed coil that had made the cable an easy target. The freezer was restored to service and the improved setup helped prevent the repeated cable theft problem from continuing.
