Surge Electric troubleshot a bathroom exhaust fan that had stopped working at a West Reno home and replaced the old unit with a new fan. The project restored bathroom ventilation and replaced an aging assembly with heavy visible dust buildup.
The Homeowner’s Goal
The homeowner called because the bathroom exhaust fan was not working. They wanted the problem diagnosed and a working replacement installed so the bathroom could be ventilated during everyday use.
Existing Conditions
The existing ceiling-mounted exhaust fan was old and no longer operating. With the grille removed, heavy dust buildup was visible on the fan assembly and inside the housing. Final Result
