ArrowCreek, Reno, Nevada
What began as an emergency call for exposed energized conductors in an ArrowCreek basement became a much more useful electrical upgrade. After making the hazardous wiring safe, Surge Electric was able to reuse and extend the existing feeder conductors to install a new 40-amp subpanel for dedicated water-softener power, additional receptacles, lighting, and security cameras.

Each project page explains the customer's goal, existing conditions, work completed, and final result.
West Reno, Nevada
On two separate West Reno service calls, Surge Electric investigated microwaves that were not working and were tripping the circuit breaker. Professional testing isolated the problem to the appliances rather than the electrical supply serving them.
Sparks, Nevada
After a refrigerator failure and reported power interruptions, a Sparks homeowner approved Surge Electric's recommendation to install whole-home surge protection. The completed installation adds protection against transient voltage surges at the electrical panel.
South Reno, Nevada
Surge Electric traced living room power cutting in and out at a South Reno home to a cracked electrical receptacle. Replacing the damaged outlet resolved the problem.
Sparks, Nevada
Troubleshot a rooftop evaporative cooler that had stopped working and found loose, unsupported, and improperly completed electrical connections at the unit and in the attic. Surge Electric corrected the wiring, installed proper enclosures and support, and restored the cooler to normal operation.
Reno, Nevada
Surge Electric was called to a commercial property after two exit signs stopped operating. Troubleshooting above the suspended ceiling revealed improper wiring and electrical connections supplying the fixtures. The unsafe conditions were corrected, the affected circuit was properly reworked, and both exit signs were restored to normal operation.
Reno, Nevada
A residential troubleshooting service call that began with several receptacles reported as not working and expanded into multiple electrical concerns throughout the home. Surge Electric identified the cause of the receptacle issue, corrected loose lighting connections, evaluated a sensor-controlled bathroom exhaust fan, and resolved two chirping alarm devices during the same visit.
Reno, Nevada
A Reno service call for lights and receptacles that had stopped working led to the diagnosis of a failed circuit breaker in an older Zinsco electrical panel. Surge Electric replaced the defective breaker, restored power to the affected circuit, and recommended a future panel upgrade due to the age of the existing equipment.
South Reno, Nevada
Responded to an electrical service call in South Reno after a commercial appliance stopped operating properly. Troubleshooting revealed severe heat and arcing damage at the appliance plug and receptacle connection. Surge Electric removed the damaged components, cut the conductors back to clean usable copper, installed new connection devices, and restored a proper electrical connection for the equipment.
